State police at Frackville reported investigating a three-vehicle chain-reaction crash around 6:19 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Mahanoy Avenue and Miller Street in Rush Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said a 17-year-old from Kulpmont was stopped behind another vehicle whose driver was attempting a left-hand turn onto Miller Street. Another 17-year-old, also from Kulpmont, was stopped behind him. Troopers said Collin H. Krakowski, 18, of Kulpmont, came up to the stopped vehicles and the front of his 2017 Honda Civic hit the rear of the second teen’s 2014 Subaru Outback pushing it into the rear of the first teen’s 2006 Pontiac G6.

No one was injured. The Honda had to be towed.

Troopers cited Krakowski for driving at an unsafe speed.
