Coaldale: Santa will be in Coaldale at 5 p.m. Nov. 26 at the borough hall. Program includes caroling, Santa arriving by firetruck and giving out small gifts to children 12 and under. The CHOSE organization will also hold a Who-dale Brunch at the Coaldale Complex from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Dec. 10. Children 12 and under receive free brunch, Christmas games and some Grinch mischief.

Lehighton: Christmas Trees in the Park, community tree lighting 6 p.m. Dec. 3.

Lansford: Lansford Alive’s annual tree lighting and arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus is 5 p.m. Nov. 25 in Kennedy Park. Santa arrives by firetruck at 4 p.m. on Dec. 3 by firetruck for Operation Santa Claus at the fire company. Registration for Operation Santa Claus must be completed by Nov. 27 by calling Joe at 570-657-0611.

Nesquehoning: Meed’s United Methodist Church will hold Christmas caroling around the borough at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 9 and will end at the Lions Club Christmas tree in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, located next to Turkey Hill on Catawissa Street at 7 p.m. for a Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

Palmerton: Christmas in the Park event will be held on Dec. 2 with a bad weather date of Dec. 3. This free event will begin at noon with an opening ceremony. There will be food stands, bake sale, vendors and entertainment from noon to 4:30 p.m. when the 100 trees will be lit. Wagon rides will also be back this year. The traditional Santa in the Park will be from 1 to 3 p.m. in the park bandstand. Children must be in line by 2:30 p.m. as Santa must leave by 3 p.m. Children will receive goody bags and a chance to win prizes, such as new bikes and wagons. Nonperishable food items will be collected for CACPAC food pantry. Donations of new unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots will also be accepted.

Parryville: Annual tree lighting and community gathering from 2-4 p.m. Dec. 2 on Center Street by the borough hall. Santa will also a[[ear at 9:15 a.m. Dec. 3 at the Parryville Fire Company breakfast, which is scheduled from 8 a.m. to noon.

Polk Township: Santa is arriving by helicopter at the Polk Township Volunteer Fire Company in Kresgeville, starting at 1 p.m. Nov. 25. Bring your camera for photos with Santa. Hot dogs, cookies, hot chocolate available. Christmas music by Corkins DJ/Karaoke.

Ross Township:

Tree lighting and Santa at 4 p.m. Dec. 2 at the VanBuskirk/Haney park. There will be caroling, hot chocolate and cookies.

Summit Hill: Christmas on the Hill will be held on Dec. 3.

Weissport: Lights in the Park, Dec. 2. Santa Claus will be present and lights will be lit at 5 p.m.

Slatington: Slatington Elementary would like to invite senior members of the Northern Lehigh community to a senior citizen’s program at 10 a.m. Dec. 12 for a morning filled with music, poems and jokes from students and a delicious turkey dinner for lunch. We hope to share our joy with you for the holidays. Please call the office to make a reservation at 610-767-9821 by Nov. 21.
