The District 11 3A title game between Lehighton and Palisades was as good as advertised on Saturday night in Bethlehem.

Both potent offenses were on full display, but it was the Pirates that made one more play and edged the Tribe in a rainy battle, 48-42.

Lehighton was led by seniors Cody Scherer and Taquan Bradley-Chambers who capped off great seasons and careers with one last electrifying performance. The Indians finished 12-1 on the year.
