Cold temperatures blowing into region this morning

Brrr! Bundle up for the weekend

A strong cold front will cross eastern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey through 7 a.m. Gusty winds, up to 35 mph will

accompany the front. Most of the showers along the front have diminished overnight, but a few could occur behind the front. Snow

showers are possible across the higher elevations of the southern Poconos and northern New Jersey.

The cold temperatures will remain through the weekend.

Here's the forecast:

Today: Sunny, with a temperature falling to around 26 by 5pm. Breezy, with a northwest wind 16 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 38 mph.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 15. Northwest wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Veterans Day: Sunny, with a high near 39. North wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the morning.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 22. Calm wind.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 44. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.

Sunday Night: A chance of rain showers before 4am, then a chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
