PSECU, a leading Pennsylvania-based credit union, has opened the application period for its annual scholarship program. The program awards six scholarships — valued at up to $8,000 each — to graduating high school seniors to help reduce the financial burden of pursuing postsecondary education. This year, the application will be available for completion online at psecu.com/scholarships.

Since PSECU began the program in 1997, it’s awarded more than half a million dollars in scholarships to over 100 students.

As long as scholarship requirements, including GPA, are met, each winner will receive a $2,000 scholarship per year that is renewable for up to four years.

To qualify for PSECU’s scholarship program, applicants must:

• Be a current PSECU member (by Dec. 30, 2017)

• Be a graduating high school senior

• Plan to attend a two- or four-year college or university

• Submit the completed application by noon on Feb. 28
