Coaldale

Soup sale

A soup sale will take place at the Coaldale Complex from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, or until sold out, to benefit the Friends of the Lansford Pool.

The complex is located at the corner of Sixth and Phillips streets, Coaldale.

Summit Hill

A 500-year anniversary is quite special. Almost all protestant Christians share in this historic, world changing event — the Reformation.

The public is invited to commemorate what PBS said of Martin Luther — an idea that changed the world — at 7 p.m. at St. Paul’s on White Street in Summit Hill.

Fellowship, coffee and cake will follow afterward.
