Michael A. Hayes, 34, of Philadelphia, will be cited by state police at the Frackville barracks after a one-vehicle crash at 4:54 a.m. Tuesday on Route 61 in Blythe Township.

Police said he was driving a 2004 Ford Expedition northbound when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road on the wet pavement.

Hayes lost control of the vehicle, which crossed the left lane and struck a guide rail head on along the west berm.

The vehicle needed to be towed from the scene.

There were no injuries.
