Good Samaritan robbed in Schuylkill incident

A Good Samaritan was robbed in an incident in Schuylkill County Monday night.

State police at Frackville said Justyn Joseph Fair, 35, of Pottsville, was driving along the area of Gordon Road at Dutchtown Road in Butler Township about 10 p.m. when he saw a man laying on the side of the road. Fair stopped to render aid.

After stopping to help the man, troopers said the man pulled a gun and a knife and threatened Fair into giving him a ride. Upon reaching the suspects’ destination the man forced Fair out of his vehicle and drove off with it.

Troopers said the stolen vehicle is a forest green 2004 Jeep Liberty, with state registration plate KJP3232. The suspect is a white man who was wearing a neon green hoodie, neon green bandana and blue jeans. He has buzz cut style hair and is in his mid-20s.
