State police at Lehighton report on incidents

State police at Lehighton have reported on the following incidents.

• Police were summoned to an incident of harassment at 4:45 p.m. Oct. 4 along Route 903 in Penn Forest Township. The response resulted in a 15-year-old female being cited for harassment after she was involved in an altercation with a 14-year-old female.

• Brent Don Rehrig, 41, of Palmerton, was cited for harassment by state police after an incident at 9:39 p.m. Oct. 9 at a Summer Mountain Road, Towamensing Township, location. The victim is a 46-year-old Palmerton man. It is alleged Rehrig pushed the victim.

• A 21-year-old woman from Forked River, New Jersey, was cited for harassment by state police after they responded to an incident at the Victoria Arms Apartments in Polk Township at 11 p.m. Oct. 6. The victim is an 18-year-old from Saylorsburg. It is alleged the woman scratched the victim’s arm and pulled her hair.

• A traffic stop at 7:48 p.m. Thursday on Route 209, near the entrance to the Pennsylvania Turnpike, Franklin Township, resulted in a 25-year-old man from Philadelphia being arrested for driving under the influence of drugs. Police said he was taken for a blood test after the stop.

• A 57-year-old Effort man is facing a charge of driving under the influence of a controlled substance following an incident that occurred Saturday at 1:10 p.m. in the area of 1969 Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

• State police are investigating a drug-related incident in which the suspect is a 58-year-old woman from Gilbert. The incident happened at 10:23 a.m. Oct. 9 in the 100 block of Trach Road, Polk Township. Police responded to an incident involving the discovery of contraband and a controlled substance in a driveway.
