The driver of a tractor trailer was injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash along the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The crash occurred just after 4 p.m. as the rig was traveling south and was entering the exit ramp of the Pocono interchange.
The driver reportedly lost control and the rig rolled onto its side, trapping him in the cab.
He was extricated from the wreckage by members of Lake Harmony Fire Co. and then transported to an area trauma center.
State police are investigating the incident.
