Schuylkill County court — probation

Schuylkill County judges have placed the following people, charged by local police, on probation.

Jonathan Evanco

, 23, of McAdoo, was charged by McAdoo police with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on Jan. 21.

Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin sentenced him to 12 months on probation.

Mary M. Smith

, 52, of Nesquehoning, was charged by Rush Township police with causing an accident involving damage to attended vehicle or property, failing to stop and render aid, following too closely, unsafe passing and failure to drive at a safe speed.

Judge James P. Goodman sentenced her to 12 months on probation.

She pleaded guilty, and the charges of failing to render aid, following too closely and unsafe passing were dropped.

Leanna Vidzicki

, 32, of Tamaqua, was charged by borough police with giving false identification to law enforcement on Jan. 24.

Goodman sentenced her to 12 months on probation.

Daniel J. Dannenfelser

, 42, of Tamaqua, was charged by borough police with possession of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 1. Goodman placed him on probation for six months.

Derek Krapf

, 28, of Tamaqua, was charged by Rush Township police with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on Jan. 12.

Goodman placed him on probation for 12 months.

Debra A. Hons

, 55, of Nuremberg, was charged by McAdoo police with two counts of driving under the influence and a broken rear light on June 19, 2016.

She pleaded guilty to one count of DUI. Goodman sentenced her to six months on probation, fined her $300, complete Alcohol Highway Safety School, and get treatment.

Also, Joseph N. Kamant,

24, of Tamaqua, was charged by borough police with making terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment on Feb. 10.

All but the harassment charge were dropped. Goodman fined him $150.
