Coaldale’s community yard sale is this Saturday and Sunday, at locations around the borough.

The event will take place 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

This year, the borough is helping residents to promote their yard sales with a handout showing their locations. It is available from the borough office, located at 223 Third St.

Participants include 102, 117 and 119 W. Lehigh St.; 237 W. Early Ave.; 265 Fourth St.; and 33 E. Phillips St.

Coaldale Volunteer Fire Company will be selling mums, as well as hot dogs, snacks and drinks. Come take a rest, grab some coffee and a bite to eat before stepping back out to the next yard sale.

The fire company will also be kicking off their fall festival Sunday — in addition to mums, pumpkins, hay and corn stalks will be available, and the kitchen will be open.
