A Carbon County woman entered guilty pleas to theft and a drug count in two pending cases on Tuesday morning in the county court.

She was one of four defendants in pending criminal cases to enter a plea before President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II.Mahoning incidentSamantha Lynn Kuntz, 28, of Lehighton, pleaded to one count of retail theft for an incident on Dec. 6, 2015, in Mahoning Township.She entered the Giant Market in the Carbon Plaza Mall and took items valued at $63.22.She also pleaded to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia for an incident on July 13, 2016, in the200 block of Harvard Avenue, filed by Palmerton police. She was originally charged with 12 counts of possession of paraphernalia.Nanovic placed her on probation for a year on each count with the terms running concurrently and ordered her to get a drug and alcohol evaluation, zero tolerance on drug and alcohol use and make restitution to Giant for $63.22.Other pleasOther defendants entering guilty pleas included:Joseph M. Radecki, 54, of Cedar Grove, New Jersey, pleaded to one count of persistent disorderly conduct.He was arrested on Oct. 21, 2016, in the400 block of Innsbruck Drive by Franklin Township police. Police responded to the area and found Radecki intoxicated and causing a disturbance.Nanovic sentenced him to serve one to 12 months in prison and get a drug and alcohol evaluation.He was given credit for 150 days spent in jail on the charge and paroled.Kiara Barreto-Lamboy, 24, of Philadelphia, pleaded to one count each of resisting arrest and persistent disorderly conduct.She was arrested on July 6, 2013, at Beltzville State Park outside of Lehighton after she caused a disturbance. Park rangers said she was drinking alcohol, which is prohibited in the park, and when being placed under arrest she resisted the rangers.On the resisting count Nanovic placed her on probation for six months and ordered she get a drug and alcohol evaluation. On the conduct charge she was fined $100 and costs.Ronald James Dugon Jr.,21, of Weatherly, pleaded to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.He was arrested on March 6 by Weatherly police following a traffic stop along Laurel Street. Marijuana and paraphernalia were found in the vehicle.He was placed on probation for a year and ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation and zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use.
