The Ukrainian Homestead of CEC, ODWU, is hosting a concert by the Stary Olsa Musical Ensemble at 7 p.m. Wednesday1230 Beaver Run Drive, Lehighton. This concert is free and open to the public.

Ethnic food and refreshments will be available for purchase.The Stary Olsa Ensemble was founded in Belarus in 1999. This group of classically trained musicians and singers is dedicated to preserving the ancient folk music of Belarus. The ensemble features bagpipes, flutes, lute and percussion with vocals by Aleys Chumakov.Their repertoire includes everything from European dances to rowdy Slavic drinking songs to epic tales of knights in battle.Their most recent recording, "Medieval Classic Rock" takes the band in a new direction, interpreting modern rock songs on medieval instruments.For more information on this event, visit
