A driver was cited following a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 7:30 a.m. Friday, along Forest Inn Road in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

State police at Lehighton said Christopher C. Green, 37, of Palmerton, was driving a 1995 GMC truck southbound at a speed too fast for conditions when he attempted to stop for a school bus. He swerved his vehicle and struck a tree along the west side of the road. The impact caused the vehicle to roll over to rest on its driver's side.Green was not injured but the GMC had to be towed. Troopers cited him for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.Assisting troopers at the scene were Palmerton EMS unit personnel and volunteers from the Aquashicola Fire Company.
