Frank Genther and Irene (Breslin) Genther of Lake Hauto celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 7. The couple was married in 1957 in St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Lansford.

Frank is the son of the late Russell and Emma Genther. Irene is the daughter of the late John and Anna Breslin. The couple has three children: Frank Genther and his wife, Joanne (Stio), of Cherry Hill, New Jersey; John Genther and his wife, Shelly (Stamm), of Lehighton; and Sue Driscoll and her husband, John Driscoll, of Eagle Rock.The Genthers also have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.A dinner was held in their honor.
