The Democratic committee members who represent Mahoning Township's three voting districts (Mahoning, New Mahoning and Packerton-Jamestown) will hold an important meeting regarding a vacancy that exists on the November ballot for the office of Mahoning Township supervisor (two-year-term) at 3 p.m. Saturday at the home of Lehighton Area Chairwoman Patty Borger, 1918 Hemlock Drive, Lehighton.
