The annual Carbon County Recovery Walk is scheduled today at Lehighton’s Grove Park.

The annual walk will kick off at 4 p.m.There will be speakers, refreshments, music and activities, and a ceremony honoring those lost to the disease of addiction.The event is happening to the Carbon Monroe Pike Drug and Alcohol Commission, which reminds the public that “Every step you take is a step away from where you used to be. Recovery is possible.”
