The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announces the following roadwork this week:

Carbon County• Weatherly, East Main Street between Wilbur Street and West Main Street, bridge repair, lane restriction with flagging for bridge maintenance work. This restriction will be in place 24/7, beginning Sept. 25 through Dec. 21. There will also be a 12-foot-wide restriction for oversized vehicles.• East Side Borough, Interstate 80, Luzerne County Line and Exit 274, Route 534, through Thursday.• Summit Hill, Route 902 at West Mountain Top Drive, utility work Thursday.• Mahoning Township, Seneca Road, between routes 443 and 902, daytime restriction Friday for bridge repairs.• Palmerton/Bowmanstown, Route 248 between Route 209 and Northampton County Line, pothole patching through Friday.• Penn Forest Township, Route 534 (Jonas Road) between Route 903 and Monroe County Line, lane restriction for base repairs through Friday.Monroe County• Interstate 380, between Route 940 and Interstate 80, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 19 and 20, lane restriction southbound for survey work.• Tunkhannock Township, Long Pond Road between Route 115 and Kuhenbeaker Road, daytime through Friday, lane restriction.• Route 715, between Route 209 and Mountain Road, lane restriction for base repair, through Friday.Lehigh County• Interstate 78, between Exit 49 (Route 100) and Exit 51 (Route 22), nighttime lane restriction in the eastbound direction for median barrier work. This work is relayed to the ongoing Interstate 78 Auxiliary Lane Project, Wednesday through Friday.•: Interstate 78, between Exit 49 (Route100) and Lehigh County Line, nighttime construction through Friday.• Whitehall Township, Route 22, between Route 145 and Fullerton Avenue, lane restriction in both directions for sign structure work. This work is related to the ongoing US 22/Fullerton Avenue Interchange Reconstruction Project.Northampton County• Lehigh Township, Route 248, between Timberline Road and county line, lane restriction for drainage work, Friday.Schuylkill County• Tamaqua borough, Route 309 in Tamaqua, pothole patching through Friday.• West Mahanoy Township, Shenandoah Heights between Route 924 and Shenandoah Heights, daytime lane restriction through Friday.
