Three local cadets were among 90 cadets who graduated from the State Police Academy in Hershey.

They have been assigned to troops across the commonwealth. The men and women represent the 149th graduating cadet class.The ceremony at Bishop McDevitt High School marked the culmination of 27 weeks of classroom and physical training.Commissioner Tyree C. Blocker congratulated the cadets. Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin was the guest speaker. CadetWilliam F. Golden, from Lackawanna County, spoke on behalf of the graduating class.The following were assigned:• Troop L, Reading Michael C. Petrozino of Schuylkill County• Troop M, Bethlehem Richard D.
