State police at Frackville are investigating a hit-and-run crash that was reported at 1:59 p.m. on Saturday along Route 895 (Summer Valley Road), in East Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Christopher M. Kelly, 49, of Birdsboro, Berks County, was eastbound when he had to stop for a vehicle in front of him making a left. His vehicle was then struck in the rear by another vehicle. He pulled to the side of the road but the other driver fled the scene.Kelly and his four passengers were all not injured.The hit-and-run vehicle was described as a small light blue sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Cruz, with front end damage.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
