Police investigate stabbing in Lehigh

A Montgomery County man was jailed Saturday night after he allegedly stabbed another man during a dispute at a campsite in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said the incident was reported at 11:12 p.m. on private hunting grounds in the 8900 block of Perry Long Court, in Lynn Township.Troopers said a 41-year-old man from Drexell Hill, Delaware County, and Eric C. Toften, 51, of Norristown, engaged in a physical dispute. During the dispute Toften is alleged to have pulled a knife and stabbed the Drexell Hill man in the abdomen.The victim was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, with non-life threatening injuries.Toften was taken into custody and charged with two counts each of aggravated and simple assault, and one count each of recklessly endangering another person and harassment.He was arraigned before a district judge and committed to the county prison.
