The Concourse Club of Palmerton plans to host an Art and Photography Exhibit on Saturday and Sunday at Sacred Heart Church Hall in Palmerton. The show will be held in conjunction with the Palmerton Community Festival, and the works will be judged by art professionals.

"It's a highlight of the festival," said Peter Kern, business manager of the Palmerton Heritage Center.Kern said local artists and those from throughout the region enter their work in the contest."It's one of the items that attract a great deal of interest," he said. "It is definitely a must see."The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free.
