An American Red Cross Bloodmobile is scheduled to be held in Tamaqua on Sept. 13.

The social hall at St. John United Church of Christ will be transformed into a collection center, open to donors from 1 to 6 p.m. The church is located at 150 Pine St., Tamaqua.Anyone 17 or older, who weighs at least 110 pounds and is in good general health, is eligible to donate blood.To schedule an appointment time, call 800-733-2767 or visit
