A Tamaqua woman faces charges in connection with a domestic argument on Aug. 20.

Officers went to a residence on North Greenwood Street at 1:43 p.m. for a domestic in progress. Both parties were interviewed separately and agreed the couple had been arguing on and off all day.The woman, Suzan Rudoi, 32, told officers her boyfriend was abusive and has hit her many times in the past. She admitted slapping him in the face during the argument, saying he pushed her first. She had no visible injuries.Her boyfriend said he was in the bedroom, trying to avoid another argument, when Rudoi entered the room, insisting they had to talk. She slapped him in the face, hard enough to knock off his glasses. There was a red mark visible on his face.Rudoi will be charged with harassment.
