A McAdoo man has been charged in connection with a July 17 crash.

Officers arrived at the accident scene on East Washington Street at 11 p.m. to find a vehicle had crashed into the front porch of a residence in the 200 block. The driver, John O'Lear, 56, said he was trying to park when he suddenly blacked out.He was transported to the hospital for treatment and agreed to have his blood tested.The results came back positive for alprazolam, hydrocodol, dihydrocodeine and oxycodone.He was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
