The Palmerton Police Department released a list of criminal charges and citations that were issued over the past three months.

The three criminal charges involved driving under the influence charges.On May 28, police filed two counts of DUI and careless driving charges against Kevin Booth, 26, of Coplay. The incident took place at Sands Quarry Road and Columbia Avenue.On June 23, two counts of DUI and drivers required to be licensed were filed against Daniel Leslie Jr., 24, of Palmerton. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue.The third incident occurred on July 11 on Route 248 West. Palmerton police charged Jared Arndt, 35, of Bowmanstown, with four counts of DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession or delivery of a small amount of marijuana, and speeding.Several citations were issued by the Palmerton police for minor traffic offenses, road weight violations, and criminal trespass.The citations issued for maximum gross weight violations went to Manuel Lima, 32, of Bloomfield, New Jersey; Edgar Cruz Jr., 31, and Orlando Zumba, 30, both of Newark, New Jersey; Luis Aucancela-Caguana, 24, of Bloomfield, New Jersey; Gustavo Gomez-Pastuizaca, 30, and Marlon Jimenez-Cruz, 31, both of Belleville, New Jersey; and William Gomez, 40, Wharton, New Jersey.A citation was also issued to Tiffany Hittner, 35, of Palmerton, for criminal trespass. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Franklin Avenue.
