A Community Open House will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 16 at Budget Store and Lock, 1841 Route 209, Brodheadsville.

The event is sponsored by Budget Store and Lock, Melissa Williams Income Tax Service, June O'Neill Tax Collector, West End Counseling, Body and Soul Massage, Christman Insurance, The Shoppe and My Lab Choice.The event will also be a fundraiser for Camp Papillon Animal Shelter, and visitors are asked to bring an item for donation to the shelter.The day will include free food and drinks, finger painting, face painting, massages, raffles and more.
