Carbon Career & Technical Institute's joint operating committee approved the following personnel motions during its meeting last week.

• Elizabeth F. Porter was appointed as a facilitator of special education for 115 scheduled days over a 12-month period, at the rate of $350 per day, starting on Aug. 19.• Helen Mullen was approved as a GED examiner for the term of Aug. 18 to June 30, 2018.• Jerry Harkness, Kevin Kuehner and Harold Resh were approved as adult education instructors on an as-needed basis, at a rate of $21 to $25 per hour from Aug. 18 to August 2019.• Borzak was appointed Title IX and Section 504 Coordinator for CCTI for the 2017-2018 school year.• Maritza Reinbold was approved for three additional work days before Aug. 23, at her per diem rate, in order to produce large format posters and signage throughout the building, produce large format posters for high schools and middle schools, and to perform other graphic design duties to prepare for the school year as assigned by the administration.• The committee accepted a letter of resignation from building substitute Anthony Koval and Lisa Wargula, enrollment specialist for the GED program, both effective immediately.• Francis L.
