August 22, 2005 - Matt Reabold claims medalist honors to help Jim Thorpe open its golf season with a 369-379 Schuylkill League victory over Shamokin. Reabold cards a 79 at Indian Hill Country Club, finishing eight strokes ahead of his closest competitor. The Olympians, coached by Richard Kelowitz, also receive a 94 from Nick Gebhardt.
