Two people were cited by Tamaqua police on Aug. 12 after an argument at 2:20 a.m.

Police were called toEast Elm Street for a domestic in progress.At the scene, officers could see Dylan Kramer, 23, of Schuylkill Haven, straddling Alysa Frey, 27, a resident of the home. He appeared to be holding her down on the floor and stood up as soon as officers came inside.Frey said Kramer became angry when she started tossing his clothes out of the home but was vague on how the argument started. There were rug burns on her elbows and knees and several of her acrylic nails were missing.Kramer said Frey became angry when he refused to fight a guy at a bar they were at earlier, screaming and scratching him once they arrived home.He was holding her down in an effort to avoid more injuries. He had visible lumps, bruises and scratches on his head and face.Both were cited for simple assault and harassment.
