Items include eggs to order, ham, bacon, sausage, potatoes, etc.Wing, taco, and clam specials are every Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Dinner is served every Friday from 4-8 p.m.Used book saleEmmanuel UCC, 509 Hamilton St., Bowmanstown, is holding a used book sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.There will be a large variety of paperbacks, hard-bound, magazines, cassettes, CDs, VHS, DVDs, jigsaw puzzles and games. The kitchen will be open for light refreshments both days.Park concertThe final Sunday in the Park concert has arrived. The Palmerton Band will close out the season at 7 p.m. Sunday. The concert is sponsored by the Bandstand Committee of the Palmerton Concourse Club. Please bring a lawn chair. The committee reserves the right to cancel the concert in the case of inclement weather.'Godspell'The cast of "Godspell" has added a date to its performance schedule this weekend. Performances will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday beginning at 7 p.m. The musical production is being held in the church grove at Jerusalem United Church of Christ, 545 Church Drive, Trachsville. Admission is free. A freewill offering will be collected and refreshments sold to defray costs and raise funds for the church and the American Cancer Society. Some seating is available, bring a lawn chair. Come out and enjoy an evening of spectacular entertainment.Community mealA free community meal will be served from 4-6

The rain date is Sept. 17. A car show will also take place and will begin at 9 a.m.The events will take place in the picnic grove.There will be food, refreshments, a bake sale and face painting.
