McAdoo Police are looking for Efrain Ramos Tejeda, 23, of McAdoo in connection with an assault on Aug. 6.

Tejeda faces charges of criminal attempt to commit aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, child endangerment, simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment after a domestic dispute.The victim reported the incident to police on Aug. 7. She said it started with a verbal argument, but quickly became physical. She told police at one point, her 1-year-old son was picked up by Tejeda and thrown across the room. She was punched in the face and hit with a broom. She was able to get away and hid, but he found her, kicked in a door and threw a knife at her.She fled the home. Police said he followed and began hitting her again, this time using a speaker as a weapon. He forced her into a vehicle and drove to a dirt road, where he pushed her out of the vehicle, then tried to run over her. He threatened to shoot her in the head and said if he went to jail, he would find her and the kids and cut them up when he got out.Police suspect he may be hiding in Hazleton.Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact McAdoo Police at 570-929-2590.
