Tamaqua police released information about several recent citations.
• Tracy Collins, 58, of West Rowe Street, Tamaqua, was cited for public drunkenness after an incident at 9:08 p.m. Aug. 5. Collins was in the area of the train station, in a very intoxicated condition. She almost fell several times and was transported home.• Monica Russop, 51, of Owl Creek Road, Tamaqua, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and picked up on an outstanding warrant at 3:35 p.m. Aug. 2. Officers saw her near Cedar Street and confirmed the warrant. When she was taken into custody, her purse contained various empty wax packets, a spoon, cotton ball and two syringes. She was picked up by agents from the Schuylkill County Adult Probation office.• Douglas Schartel, 35, of Tamaqua, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Aug. 2. Officers picked him up in the 200 block of Greenwood Street on an outstanding warrant. Schartel had a scale and three syringes on him when he was picked up.He was transported to the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville on the warrant.• Kathy Wolke, 53, of East Mauch Chunk Street, Tamaqua, was cited for defiant trespass after refusing to leave the Wine and Spirits Store on Railroad Street on Aug. 3. Wolke had previously been banned from the store.
