Mahoning Township Police are attempting to identify a suspect responsible for a quick change scam at the Lehighton Walmart. The May 24th scam resulted in the theft of $1,500 cash. A video showing the a portion of the transaction has been posted online. Tips can be submitted via the Mahoning Township Police Department Facebook page, or by phone at 570-386-2241, with a reference to case number 1600-2017.
