A woman was injured Wednesday afternoon in a crash along Little Gap Road in Lower Towamensing Township. The crash occurred as the woman was driving west and lost control crossing the roadway, entering the left berm, hitting a utility pole and snapping it off. The victim was treated at the scene by members of the Palmerton ambulance and transported to a local hospital. Electricity was knocked out to residents in the area.
