Can you consider giving one of those unwanted gifts you may have no use for? Or perhaps you are a crafter and can donate to promote your business.All proceeds are not just for the pool, but used in the community to help sponsor the Halloween Parade, Santa in the Park, and the community Easter egg hunt.Donations can be left at the pool office or call Sue or Larry Arner at 610-826-7515.Summer breakfastPalmerton kid's summer breakfast brunch program is continuing at St. John's Episcopal Church, 265 Lafayette Ave. until Aug. 25. The program is held Mondays through Fridays, 8:30 to 10 a.m.They offer a free breakfast and bagged lunch to take home. This is open to children in grades K-12 in the Palmerton School District. You may come any day or every day.
