Celebrate National Bacon Day at the annual Bacon & Blues Festival from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 2 at the Tamaqua Station Restaurant, 18 N. Railroad St., Tamaqua.

The event will feature three live bands, comedy, a Chinese auction, a bacon-themed menu and children's activities.One-hundred percent of food and event proceeds will be donated to the community to fight the opioid epidemic.The event is being held in memory of Matthew "Tuna" Osenbach.
