A biker was seriously injured in a crash Wednesday afternoon in a crash at the intersection of Delaware Avenue and State Road. The crash appeared to have the motorcycle strike a sport utility vehicle broadside. The victim was flown by MedEvac helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital Trauma Center in Allentown

Palmerton police are investigating the incident.
