State police at Lehighton said they had to administer naloxone to a woman who was found slumped over the driver's side seat of a vehicle at Franklin and Forge streets in Weissport on Aug. 3.
Police said they were called there at 5:30 p.m. and found the woman to be unresponsive with heroin in her lap.As a result of the naloxone administration, the woman regained consciousness and was transported to the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton, by the Lehighton EMS personnel.
