Lehighton state police

State police at Lehighton reported on the following incidents.

• A 52-year-old Lower Towamensing Township woman reported a suspect attempted to use her bank debit card information without her permission. The incident was reported on July 17.• A mailbox was damaged in a criminal mischief incident that took place between Aug. 2-5 at a residence along Squirrelwood Court, Polk Township. The victim,of Effort, reported the mailbox was damaged with an unknown object.• Police investigated an attempted break-in sometime between July 1 and Sundayat a residence along Kyle Drive in Polk Township. The victim told police someone removed a screen from a basement window and broke the window. The glass fell to the interior of the basement of the home. The intruder replaced the screen and left.• State police were called toa Nottingham Drive residence in Polk Township at 8:54

a.m.Sunday to investigate an incident of harassment.Police said the case involved a 29-year-old man from Marshalls Creek and a 45-year-old man from Polk Township. Each of the men are listed as both the victims and the suspects in the case in which police said they harassed each other via text messages. In a separate case, police said a 49-year-old man from Polk Township is the victim of another harassment by texting incident. It was reported at 5:18

p.m.Saturday froman Astoria Arms Court residence in the township when the man was threatened by a suspect.
