Two drivers are facing driving under the influence of controlled substance charges in separate incident in Jim Thorpe.

Borough police said on Feb. 5 Dean James Dibonifazio, 24, ofHayes Street in Hazleton, was stopped in the 1100 block of North Street (Route 903). He was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.Regina A. Redner, 33, ofLong Run Road, Lehighton, was stopped on April 30 in the 700 block of North Street. She was also found under the influence of a controlled substance. She is also charged with reckless and careless driving, drivers required to be licensed, driving while operating privileges suspended or revoked and carrying and exhibiting driver's license on demand.
