The northbound lanes of Route 209 were closed to traffic early this morning because of a two-car crash.
The crash occurred at 3:15 a.m. One of cars came to rest along the center barrier while another struck the barrier then rolled onto its roof sliding to a stop. That male driver climbed out of the wreckage then ran off. The female driver of the first car refused medical treatment. The Franklin Township Fire Company responded to the scene with their fire police maintaining traffic control at the scene. Franklin Township police are investigating the incident.
