VFW AuxiliaryThe regular monthly meeting of the Nesquehoning Memorial Auxiliary to VFW Post 8008 will be held onAug. 11, beginning at 1 p.m. at the post home.Items on the agenda include the Hometown Heroes project, being done in conjunction with the Nesquehoning Historical Society; the upcoming Veterans Day parade in November; and the "Friends helping Friends" event for Boscov's on Oct. 17.Several members will be attending the Leadership Conference, being held Aug. 11 to 13 at Camp Hill.
