Hess Windows and Doors is conducting its annual back to school supplies giveaway at its Tamaqua and Allentown locations. Zakk Meyers, who will be entering first grade this school year, was the first student to receive supplies at the Tamaqua location on Tuesday. The company has different supplies based on grade levels, including pencils, notebooks, folders, rulers and more. The first 25 students at each location will also receive a clear backpack. The giveaway will continue while supplies last. Hess Windows is located at 56 Mauch Chunk St., Tamaqua. KATHY KUNKEL/TIMES NEWS
