The fourth annual "Music in the Park" summer concert series sponsored by the Lansford Alive Events Committee, will continue in Kennedy Park with the second half of the season starting this weekend. The park is located along West Patterson Street, next to the Panther Valley football stadium. The live music programs run from 6-8 p.m.

On Sunday, Two For One, of Hazleton, will perform music of the '50s and '60s.Aug. 6, Blue Mountain Buccaneers trio playing rock-a-billy classic rock, R&B and folk.Aug. 13, Don and Donna Nye, of Port Carbon, founding members of the Kings & Queens band, will perform.Aug. 20, The Fat Cats, of Pottsville, performing acoustic classic rock and rock-a-billy.Aug. 27, Richie Molinaro and Mr. Lou, of Hazleton, will perform legendary rock 'n' roll.Admission is free and all events are open to the public. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket. The proceeds of the food sales at the programs benefit the Lansford Alive efforts.
