A woman was given a probation term on Monday afternoon after pleading guilty to one count of resisting arrest.

Destinie Mariah Dudzinsky, 20, who said she had no address, was placed on probation for 24 months by Judge Steven R. Serfass.Dudzinsky was arrested on June 23, 2015, by Weatherly police for an incident in the borough when she was accused of assaulting her brother. She fled before police arrived but was later located and struggled with officers who tried to take her into custody. She was originally charged with simple assault, resisting arrest and persistent disorderly conduct.She was previously placed in the county's Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program but was revoked from it in January. She failed to appear for a plea hearing on July 6 and a bench warrant was issued for her arrest. She was picked up on the warrant late last week and jailed. When picked up she was residing in Tamaqua with a friend. She also had an address for Hazleton when placed in the ARD program.Serfass also ordered her to get both drug and alcohol and mental health evaluations, render 100 hours of community service, pay court costs of about $1,000 and pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation.Serfass also ruled she must submit a pre-parole plan before being released from prison. She must have a verifiable home address before she can be released.
