Lehighton state police

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported on the following incidents.

• Police are investigating an incident where someone disposed of drugs on a property in Ross Township sometime between midnight July 19 and 10:30 a.m. July 20 in the 1100 block of Kunkletown Road. A 59-year-old man from Saylorsburg reported the disposal. Anyone with information pertaining to the investigation is asked to contact police at 610-681-1850.• State police said drug paraphernalia that was discovered was turned over to them at the barracks in Towamensing Township at 5:48

p.m.Sunday.Police did not say where the paraphernalia was found or what it included.• Randy M. Serfass, 42, of Kunkletown, was cited for careless driving after a two-vehicle crash at 10:11

a.m.Monday at the intersection of Old Route 115 and Bishop Colony Drive in Ross Township. Serfass was driving a 2007 Ford Utilimaster in the southbound lane of Old Route 115 when he failed to brake in time for another southbound vehicle that had stopped to turn left onto Bishop Colony Drive. Serfass' vehicle struck the rear of the 2006 Ford Crown Victoria operated by Eric K. Schwab, 39, of Saylorsburg. No one was injured.
