A one-vehicle crash occurred on Friday in Ryan Township. Troopers said Christopher R. The Explorer slid across both southbound lanes and went onto the left berm, where it hit a shallow ditch and an embankment. The Explorer then rolled over onto its roof.Rescue personnel had to use hydraulic extrication equipment to free Antigua and his passenger, Matilde E. Antigua, 69, same address, from the vehicle. The driver was not injured, but his passenger was transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pottsville Campus, by Ryan Township ambulance, for treatment of injuries. Ryan Township Fire Company volunteers assisted at the scene.
