BETHLEHEM (AP) - Police are looking for two men suspected of spreading feces on the walls, floors and ceiling of a restroom in a Lehigh Valley supermarket.
Police say the men were recognized by store staff and caught on security cameras outside the restroom of the Wegman's store that was vandalized on June 30 in Lower Nazareth Township.Police believe the men have targeted other stores in the Northampton County area, and say they've not been able to speak with either man. They were seen on video surveillance emerging from the restroom at a time employees say nobody else was inside, about 2 a.m.It wasn't an isolated incident, investigators told lehighvalleylive.com."Through the course of the investigation, officers learned that this is not the first time that both males have spread fecal matter throughout various store bathrooms," Colonial Regional police said in a news release announcing the charges.Police identified the men as Mykel J. Bauman, 19, of the 300 block of Centre Street in Palmerton, and Zachary J. Anthony, 20, of the 1300 block of Spring Drive in Lehigh Township.Police planned to charge the men with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. The store is hoping to have them pay for the damage and cleanup.
